IT Security Services for the UI Community

The NASWA UI ITSC Security website is a place to share security-related resources and support services. We strive to provide a baseline of useful security information and encourage state UI agencies and USDOL to suggest additions. Whether there is a topic we should address, or you have procedures and resources you have found to be particularly useful, please provide suggestions and comments to securitycorner@itsc.org.

State UI IT Systems are subject to regular audits. These resources assist states with establishing a compliant security program and preparing for audits.

The importance of IT security is higher than ever. Tailored for the UI community, these additional resources are a collection of security materials in a single search.




IT Security Resources

The ITSC makes quarterly updates to the security resources section on the ITSC website. This section is a place to share information about security-related resources for news, alerts, papers, tools, events, and training. Below are some topics covered in this section.  To access resources login to the Members-Only Section.

    • A "Compliant IT Program" – What do the auditors look for and what do they expect to find.
    • Security Training – What is it? Why have it? Where to get it! 
    • A Cornucopia of Security Resources – Magazines & Journals, Newsletters, Websites, and Webinars/CBT.
